Moving on to Arvind Swamy, what a class actor! He's a natural. He's a hardcore cop who believes in gentle blows because according to him, those hit the most. There's also a confrontational scene, where he manages to give us a restrained yet effective performance. A particular scene where he is shown to be frustrated and angry brings out the actor in him. Ram Charan comes across as a diligent cop who is ready to serve the nation come what may. One or two scenes may seem a bit of drag but you soon forget about it, as the story has you thinking about what's going to happen next. This movie's sole strength is its storyline - it deflects the blow of the unnecessary songs and forced romance. The director didn't go astray form the main plot and that itself is a big plus. Surender Reddy, kudos to you for respecting a remake and at the same time, giving it the Telugu version spin. A Class cat-mouse game executed perfectly. The second half is the perfect finish with well planned out surprises. The fantastic plot! Although we have seen it before in the form of Tamil Movie, Thani Oruvan, watching a great story unfold for the second time is just as hitting!
